My name is Anu kaur, fully qualified teacher. We migrated from New Zealand in 2014 to Ararat. My qualification is from University of Auckland, New Zealand. I have gained valuable experiences in early childhood education for years. In my family, I have two sons and my husband works in the community services. Hi, my name is Jasmine, and I am very excited to be a new educator at Ararat Childcare and Kinder Retreat.

I am currently studying Cert 3 in Early childhood education and care with only 20% of my assessments to go. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to pressure my passion for helping young children learn and grow at Ararat Childcare and Kinder Retreat. I have plans for the near future to continue with my studies in childcare by going into a diploma through a traineeship, I am looking forward to becoming a part of the team at Ararat Childcare and Kinder Retreat. In my free time, I enjoy playing netball and spending quality time with my family and pets.

I have wanted to be a childcare educator for as long as I can remember and am thrilled to be working with the educators and children at Ararat Childcare and Kinder Retreat.

Hello, I am Ang SHERPA, I moved to Ararat in 2021 with my family from Craigieburn.  I come from a nursing background. I adore children and from a very young age I always loved babies.I am a mother of a son. Since I became a mother,  I decided to change my career as a childcare educator. I am studying Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and currently working in Ararat Childcare and Kinder Retreat. I was born and brought up in Nepal. I am very lucky to be a part this beautiful team.I like to spend free time cooking my traditional food, listening to music. I consider myself self-motivated, hardworking, patient, honest and passionate about working with children and parents. I love working at Ararat Childcare because it’s such a fun and enjoyable place to be. We are like a big family. Getting to know the children and their families is so rewarding and as a parent myself now I can appreciate how important the relationships between families and our staff is. I love being around children and see them growing, learning new things everyday.

Hi everyone! My name is Brooke Le Poidevin and I am one of the Certificate 3 qualified educators at Ararat Childcare Kinder Retreat.

I am 26 years old and was born here in Ararat however have lived in various areas across Victoria, spent a few years in Queensland as a teen and a couple of years in Tasmania recently with my husband and children. We have 4 beautiful children together 3 sons and a little baby girl.  I was a stay at home mum for 7.5 years before joining the team here and always found so much joy and fulfilment aiding my 3 older children in their learning and development which lead me to pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education and Care. I’m very passionate about my own learning also and believe it is very important to always be developing my knowledge.

We have a wonderful team here at Ararat Childcare and Kinder Retreat and I am so grateful to be a part of it where I get to work alongside all your beautiful children too.
